Dear Sir,

I stayed at your hotel the night of 19th September 08, booked in by my son-in law, Mr Baras Mast-Ingle.

I had been having some neck discomfort at that time and had even had physiotherapy. I had a wonderful nights sleep at the hotel and the pillow was unbelievably comfortable, so much so that I wrote a note and made enquiries at the reception desk as to where I could obtain one.

The receptionist thought it may have been John Lewis though this was not so as I went there to ask. In fact you may be interested to know that someone else had just called in to the store to ask the same question, also from your hotel.

Once home I telephoned to see if I could progress with my enquiries. Your Guest Service Manager, Linda, contacted me. What a lovely person she is! She took my request seriously and is doing her utmost to track down the supplier so that I can contact them in order to buy a pillow.

This lady has a responsible position within your team and must be very busy. My request is small and unimportant in the scheme of things. I felt that I should draw attention to her and thank her for her pleasant manner and actually taking the trouble to follow up.
