Buffet Menus

The price of each presentation buffet includes the choice of one starter and one dessert, together with Café du monde filter coffee or Eilles loose leaf tea and homemade chocolates.

The room will be laid out as for a formal lunch or dinner, with a place setting for each guest. A set starter and dessert is served at the table but your guests are free to choose from a wide variety of delicious main courses on the buffet table, with the assistance of our waiting staff.

Starters

  • Roasted tomato and basil soup, basil oil and crème fraiche (g)
  • Chicken liver parfait, red onion marmalade, toasted ciabatta
  • Scottish smoked salmon mousse, pickled cucumber, frisee leaves, toasted rye bread
  • Smoked ham hock terrine, English mustard mayonnaise, carrot and cornichons, parmesan crisp (g)
  • Heritage tomato and mini buffalo mozzarella salad, fresh basil leaves, basil pesto and rocket(g)
  • Asparagus and brie tartlet, Pickled carrot and cucumber, peppercorn vinaigrette

  • Chicken breast, wild mushroom and tomato sauce (g)
  • Aubergine and tomato moussaka (v) (g)
  • Roasted new potatoes, garlic butter (v) (g)
  • Carrots, garden peas, mange tout (v) (g)
  • Whole poached salmon (g)
  • Roasted sirloin of beef with horseradish cream (g)
  • A selection of salads (v)
  • Mixed leaves, tomato and basil,cucumber, marinated olives and feta cheese, red onion & pepper, carrot and
  • white radish, pickled beetroot, roasted Mediterranean vegetables and croutons
  • A selection of dressings and vinaigrettes (v)
  • Tomato, citrus, shallot and red wine, balsamic and olive oil, caesar

Buffet 2 £48.00 per person

  • Chicken ballontine, stilton mousse, Shiraz jus (g)
  • Roasted ratatouille and parmesan pastries, tomato fondue (v)
  • Roasted new potatoes, garlic butter (v) (g)
  • Carrots, garden peas, mange tout (v) (g)
  • Roasted fore-rib of beef with horseradish cream (g)
  • Whole dressed poached salmon (g)
  • Honey roasted ham with mustards and pickles (g)
  • A selection of salads (v)
  • Mixed leaves, tomato and basil, cucumber, marinated olives and feta cheese, red onion and pepper, carrot and white radish, pickled beetroot, roasted Mediterranean vegetables and croutons
  • A selection of dressings and vinaigrettes (v)

Desserts
